Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, execution, and enhancement of cloud infrastructure for solution development and operations.

• Guarantee the security, scalability, availability, and cost-effectiveness of technology environments.

• Manage projects and activities for the deployment and administration of computing resources in the public cloud.

• Maintain documentation of activities, monitor deadlines and schedules, and ensure adherence to specified quality standards.

• Strategize deployments and oversee projects within the area of expertise.

• Implement enterprise systems and cloud components in the public cloud in alignment with organizational strategies.

• Utilize best practices for security, availability, and redundancy (SRE).

• Aid in formulating governance models, resource usage policies, and cost management strategies in the public cloud.

• Lead technical teams in the deployment and integration of client infrastructure in accordance with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

• Organize and coordinate the configuration of protocols and components for both virtual and on-premises networking.

• Oversee identity management, access control mechanisms, and integrations with various products, services, and technologies.

• Supervise activities related to security risk assessment, control, and management in both public cloud and on-premises settings.

• Support agile management of public cloud project deployments, including budget and financial scheduling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Around 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and environment management.

• Familiarity with providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of cloud platforms and providers.

• Knowledge of SRE, ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

• Proficiency in virtual networking and on-premises infrastructure.

• Awareness of identity management and access control.

• Understanding of security measures in both public cloud and on-premises environments.

• Insight into cloud governance and cost management.
