Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a team comprising Senior DevOps Engineers and Cloud Architects.

• Engage in a prominent, transformational migration initiative.

• Contribute to an innovative fintech landscape.

• Assist in modernizing technological solutions for banks, credit and payment networks, infrastructure providers, and their clientele.

• Aid in the migration strategy, including runbooks, validation, and sequencing of the migration process.

• Evaluate application architecture and identify dependencies.

• Set up cloud security groups, IAM roles, policies, and resource sharing protocols.

• Collaborate with multi-account strategies and AWS Organizations.

• Revamp CI/CD pipelines and automate service configurations and deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proven track record with DevOps tools, with a focus on Production Readiness and Operations.

• Experience in designing robust systems.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

• Experience with proprietary CI/CD pipeline reconfiguration (ARGO).

• Background in container orchestration (ECS, Docker).

• Familiarity with automation scripting (Python, Bash).

• Knowledge in service configuration and deployment automation.

• Experience in configuring Security Groups.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Mathematics.

• Candidates without a bachelor's degree may still be considered with three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience with DevOps tools and cloud environments for each missing year of college, in addition to five years of required experience.

• Desirable skills include migration strategy, AWS services and inter-account networking, cross-account IAM, AWS Organizations, application architecture assessment, AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, Web Architecture, and Security Groups configurations.
