This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise technology solutions across on-premise infrastructure, cloud, applications, security, and collaboration platforms.
• Provide Tier 3/4 support and conduct root-cause analysis for intricate technical issues.
• Oversee technical deployments, upgrades, integrations, and migrations.
• Establish and uphold technical standards, configurations, and best practices.
• Contribute to system architecture, technology roadmaps, and lifecycle planning.
• Architect Azure Government Community Cloud services within a FedRAMP-compliant environment.
• Assess emerging technologies and offer recommendations that align with business and security needs.
• Architect, implement, and manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and GCC services.
• Design and enforce governance frameworks for Microsoft 365.
• Direct M365/Azure migrations, tenant consolidations, hybrid integrations, and major platform upgrades.
• Act as Tier 2/3 escalation for complex M365/Azure/GCC incidents.
• Implement security controls and configurations to safeguard systems and data.
• Engage in vulnerability remediation, incident response, and audit readiness.
• Convert compliance requirements into technical controls and operational processes.
• Lead SSPs, POA&Ms, control implementation evidence, and audit assessment readiness.
• Ensure systems adhere to CUI protection, data residency, logging, auditability, and access control mandates.
• Collaborate with security, legal, and compliance teams on findings, risks, and remediation efforts.
• Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions in partnership with business units, vendors, and IT leadership.
• Present technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
• Create technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers and specialists.
• Contribute to automation and process optimization initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Advanced experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCC.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 and identity platforms.
• Advanced experience with infrastructure, including compute, storage, and virtualization.
• Advanced experience with networking and security technologies.
• Advanced experience with enterprise applications and integrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-platform technical issues.
