Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the current infrastructure of customers and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure, security posture, automation, and developer experience.

• Assist in migrating legacy or on-premises workloads to secure, cloud-native solutions.

• Design, create, and oversee AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS CDK.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for customer applications.

• Engage in customer interactions to define requirements and formulate architectural recommendations.

• Detect and address security vulnerabilities within customer cloud environments.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through ongoing learning and professional growth.

• Disseminate knowledge to Rearc engineers, customer engineers, and the broader community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and security services on AWS.

• Practical experience in constructing cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK.

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Understanding of IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance best practices.

• Experience in supporting application migration or modernization initiatives.

• Experience in customer-facing requirements gathering and solution proposal.

• Proficiency in writing and testing code in Python or JavaScript.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CodePipeline.

• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
