Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Assist in cloud migration, deployment, and modernization initiatives.

• Develop and sustain secure, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud environments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Collaborate with DevOps, security, application, and infrastructure teams to enhance cloud operations.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources.

• Enforce cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance controls.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineering team members.

• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or DevOps.

• Strong practical experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP.

• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration and cloud networking.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience utilizing monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance practices.

• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
