Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Act as a customer advocate by designing effective solutions and ensuring their innovative and reliable implementation and support.

• Facilitate successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium-sized teams, both technical and non-technical, to shape and inspire customer use cases and architectural design decisions.

• Define the scope of delivery projects and assist customers in navigating successful pilot and production deployments.

• Create, design, and deliver content that empowers the wider Red Hat organization to effectively sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale.

• Contribute to the creation of repeatable methodologies and tools aimed at enhancing Red Hat's service capabilities, fostering ongoing customer engagements, and minimizing delivery risks.

• Act as a subject matter expert by presenting innovative ideas within the community through the production of outstanding whitepapers, webinars, and speaking engagements at prominent industry conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in a consulting role with the capability to deliver in one-on-one assignments.

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies at the delivery level.

• Experience in implementing virtualization technologies within an enterprise environment and managing enterprise-wide deployments.

• Familiarity with one or more Red Hat infrastructure solutions, such as Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift.

• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to present to clients and guide customer interactions.

• Understanding of the open source community.

• Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities.

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is advantageous.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the capability to obtain it within a few weeks of the start date, is a plus.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations within France and occasionally across EMEA.

• Proficiency in both English and French languages.
