Senior Cloud Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and implementation of Azure Architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and adheres to security standards.

• Partner with engineering teams to create and implement infrastructure that is highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant.

• Offer guidance on infrastructure and platform matters, set standards, and make technical decisions.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.

• Deploy and support applications within AKS across multiple environments.

• Execute and manage infrastructure using Terraform.

• Monitor systems with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Resolve production issues and address performance challenges.

• Contribute to enhancements in observability and reliability.

• Implement security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployments.

• Work collaboratively with teams to enhance deployment workflows and automate processes.

• Manage and optimize costs associated with cloud infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates located near Maumee, OH, Dallas, TX, Orlando, FL, or Mesa, AZ will be given preference.

• 5–8 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure Engineering.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Azure.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Understanding of Cloud Networking.

• Familiarity with SRE practices, including SLOs, SLIs, reliability, and incident response.

• Experience in supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues.

• Knowledge of other Azure services such as Front Door, Application Gateway, VMs, Entra ID, and Key Vault.

• Acquainted with monitoring and observability tools.

• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
