Cloud Architect – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering technical leadership on client projects.

• Facilitate architectural design discussions with clients.

• Offer ongoing coaching and support to colleagues, aiding in implementation while managing client expectations and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

• Assist in enhancing team members' skills and confidence in infrastructure delivery.

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships among cloud infrastructure teams (including delivery, delivery excellence/PMO, and solution architecture) as well as with external partners.

• Collaborate with Delivery Excellence/PMO to ensure project milestones align with an inclusive project plan that records key client decisions.

• Aid the delivery team in achieving billable targets by helping to overcome project obstacles.

• Facilitate change orders and project extensions as necessary during in-progress projects.

• Drive alignment on technical integration points across various 3Cloud practice areas by providing guidance and oversight.

• Lead and oversee multiple engagements to support the scaling of our infrastructure team.

• Assist teammates in resolving engagement issues and preemptively addressing potential escalations.

• Develop reusable artifacts and content that allow our team members to bill their time to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical understanding of Azure and on-premises enterprise networking, including: Azure VPN/ExpressRoute with/without BGP Routing, Azure Firewall or third-party NVAs (Palo Alto/Fortigate) in various design patterns, Network Routing and Segmentation, Network Design and Architecture, Routing protocols and route redistribution, Azure and third-party Load Balancing integration (ALB, Traffic Manager, App Gateway, F5), Azure DNS and third-party Integrations (Infoblox, WinDNS), third-party network integrations (Cloudstrike, Zscaler, CDN/WAF, AWS/GCP).

• Comprehensive technical knowledge across Azure technologies, including: Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Security, Azure Storage, Azure Automation (IaC), App Services, Containers (AKS).

• Prior experience in environments utilizing various carrier circuits (MPLS, VPLS, point-to-point, etc.) and diverse SDWAN technologies (Cisco/Meraki/Veptela, VMware/Velocloud).

• Demonstrated experience in providing technical delivery oversight on multiple client engagements with strong consultative abilities.

• Profound understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and the delivery/execution of implementations using IaC (Bicep or Terraform).

• Commitment to staying updated on the latest technologies and their potential impacts on existing 3Cloud offerings.

• Knowledge of the cloud ecosystem and emerging cloud technologies.

• Skills in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Initiative to work independently or as part of a virtual project team.

• Must hold the AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer certification.

• AZ-305 Azure Architect certification is highly preferred.

• Possession of third-party networking certifications (CCNP/CCNA/Juniper/Palo Alto) is highly preferred.
