This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Offer specialized clinical sales assistance for Optowire and SavvyWire.
• Facilitate the adoption of both existing and forthcoming products in the Sensor-Guided Technology sector.
• Provide case coverage within the designated territory, addressing complex cases that necessitate advanced clinical knowledge.
• Work alongside Account Managers to guarantee effective case coverage and positive clinical outcomes.
• Act as the main clinical resource for case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education.
• Engage in discussions with customers regarding product, therapy, and technology advancements.
• Connect clinical data to essential messaging.
• Recognize customer clinical requirements, objectives, and limitations, and offer product-based solutions.
• Relay account information and insights to the sales team on a daily basis.
• Share intelligence on competitive products and accounts with team members.
• Instruct customers on the proper clinical application and advantages of products.
• Oversee local educational and training initiatives, including program coordination, procedural troubleshooting, and staff education.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, clients, and staff.
• Assist in monitoring product inventory.
• Lead discussions on challenging or complicated cases.
• Develop and present content for Regional and/or Area clinical calls.
• Aid the Regional Sales Director in crafting and disseminating internal educational materials.
• Welcome new team members for observational learning or informal shadowing as necessary.
• Provide informal mentorship to newer team members and support their skill enhancement.
• Report to the Regional Clinical Manager and collaborate with the Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Marketing, and Clinical Teams.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent medical training is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct healthcare experience in Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Strong clinical background with experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, or cardiac surgery.
• Preferred health science background with relevant registrations or certifications such as RT, RCIS, Surgical Tech, RN, NP, or First Assistant.
• Advanced knowledge of the company's products and services, clinical evidence, and disease states associated with the role.
• Solid understanding of sales strategy and business acumen.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capability to influence clinicians, nurses, and lab technicians effectively.
• Proficient in communicating the Sensor-Guided Technology Value Proposition convincingly.
• Strong analytical skills and financial literacy.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Keen attention to detail for maintaining records and processing reports.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the medical device market, products, and the customer base in the territory.
• Previous experience in the cardiovascular industry is preferred, particularly in engaging with Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff.
• Experience in the Structural Heart industry is preferred, especially with TAVR.
• Previous experience in providing clinical education and training is preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
