This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee the research activities at sites involved in Worldwide’s clinical research initiatives.
• Conduct study initiation visits (SIVs).
• Ensure adherence to obtaining informed consent, reporting potential safety-related incidents, and complying with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Carry out various study start-up tasks, including collaborating with sites to gather necessary regulatory documents and assisting in the negotiation of contracts and budgets.
• Provide training to sites on proper data collection and the reporting of potential safety-related events.
• Supervise the site's activities throughout the study maintenance phase and manage the closure of research activities at the sites after the study has ended.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• A 4-year university degree or a Nursing Degree.
• Required experience in CNS/Neurology and Rare Disease.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC Systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel regionally is necessary.
