Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and execute pharmacy programs

• Offer clinical consulting services to clients

• Develop and implement clinical information and educational programs

• Assist in the formulation of drug formularies

• Conduct drug utilization reviews

• Engage in and present at Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) committee meetings

• Oversee client formularies

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Pharmacy

• At least 4 years of experience as a pharmacist in a clinical environment; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background

• Must be a registered pharmacist

• Should hold an active unrestricted state license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)

• Highly preferred to have experience with Medicare Part B prior authorization review

• PharmD is preferred

• Candidates should live within commuting distance to an office unless an accommodation is legally required

• Certain roles that involve direct patient/member interaction may require vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza, unless a valid exemption is provided
