This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Develop and manage the timelines for clinical data science activities throughout the lifecycle of studies, including data review and delivery milestones.
• Contribute insights into the development of clinical systems and activities related to clinical risk management.
• Monitor issues that could impact project timelines, scope, or budget, and escalate potential challenges effectively and promptly.
• Keep stakeholders from functional and project management informed about issues as they arise.
• Forecast budgets, hours, and resources needed for clinical data review activities.
• Conduct analytic reviews concentrating on errors that significantly impact subject safety or the interpretation of final analyses.
• Create planning documents pertaining to data review, data analytics, and data deliverables.
• Engage in audits conducted by sponsors and third-party organizations.
• Negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients, external customers, vendors, and various departments.
• Travel approximately 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Act as the primary contact for both internal and external team members regarding clinical data science data review activities.
• Lead data review processes to ensure data readiness for analysis and that deliverables align with time, quality, and financial expectations.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical data management experience within a clinical research organization or pharmaceutical company.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical research organization (CRO).
• Proven experience as a functional lead for multiple low- and moderately complex studies.
• Experience acting as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
• Familiarity with all phases of the data science lifecycle and most key data science study tasks.
• Proficient in at least one Clinical Data Management system, such as Medidata Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical, or Veeva.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in budget and timeline management.
• Background in data analytics and data validation.
• Bachelor’s degree or its local equivalent.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the specified education and experience.
• Proficient in English and the host country language, both written and spoken.
