Senior Clinical Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Perform assessments of workflows before and after implementation within radiology departments.

• Recognize operational obstacles, delays in diagnostics, and areas for enhancing clinical and operational efficiency.

• Create and document strategies for clinical workflows that support the adoption and optimization of PACS, RIS, and clinical reporting solutions.

• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert during engagements with customers.

• Assist radiologists, clinicians, department heads, and clinical administrators in navigating change management processes.

• Facilitate clinical training sessions for radiologists, technologists, and clinical administrators.

• Collaborate with implementation and technical teams to ensure product configurations align with facility workflows, protocols, and user preferences.

• Act as the primary resource for clinical workflow during complex implementations from project initiation through to go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation support.

• Keep track of workflow assessments, future-state workflow designs, and training plans within project or ticketing systems.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of clinical workflow methods, support processes, and knowledge bases within Service and Delivery.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Provide updates and guidance to key customers to maintain adoption and foster positive clinical relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Healthcare, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience including a clinical or radiology background (required).

• Over 5 years of experience in radiology and diagnostic imaging settings, encompassing clinical consulting, workflow optimization, and customer-facing support for healthcare technology or medical imaging solutions (required).

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program (required).

• Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge of radiology workflows, PACS, RIS, DICOM standards, and clinical reporting platforms (required).

• Experience in implementing medical imaging software or clinical decision-support systems (required).

• Proven ability to engage with senior healthcare leaders regarding clinical workflow assessment, optimization, and adoption outcomes (required).

• Documented experience in guiding clinical teams through software transitions and workflow redesign (required).

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate software capabilities into clinical terminology for radiologists and operational leaders (required).

• Experience in leading change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, workflow adoption, training, and communication planning (required).

• Experience in supporting complex, enterprise-level healthcare sales cycles, clinical demonstrations, or pre-sales workflow discovery (preferred).

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States or fulfill work sponsorship requirements.
