This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of and implement account strategies across designated Enterprise FSI accounts, emphasizing long-term growth, customer retention, expansion, and the development of new business.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in business, technology, security, infrastructure, risk, and procurement, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, VPs of Infrastructure, Cyber Resilience, Data Governance, and Enterprise Architecture leaders.
• Grasp the priorities of regulated financial institutions, focusing on operational resilience, cyber recovery, compliance, data governance, cloud transformation, SaaS protection, AI risk, and third-party risk management.
• Build and sustain a robust pipeline that aligns with quotas, identifying opportunities across the Veeam Data Platform, Veeam Data Cloud, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID protection, cloud workloads, Kubernetes, cyber resilience, and data/AI security.
• Lead comprehensive enterprise sales cycles from discovery to closure, including business case development, technical alignment, commercial strategy, procurement navigation, legal negotiations, and securing executive sponsorship.
• Collaborate closely with strategic channel partners, GSIs, cloud alliances, distributors, and internal teams to create joint account plans, co-selling strategies, and customer-specific value propositions.
• Maintain precise records of pipeline, forecasting, and account activities in Salesforce, providing clear visibility into deal progression, risks, next steps, and executive alignment.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Veeam’s presence within current customers by aligning Veeam’s offerings with evolving customer priorities concerning data resilience, ransomware recovery, regulatory compliance, and safe AI adoption.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, preferably in software, cloud, cybersecurity, data protection, SaaS, infrastructure, or data management.
• A proven track record of success in a quota-carrying enterprise sales role.
• Experience in selling to Financial Services, banking, insurance, wealth management, or other regulated sectors.
• Strong comprehension of complex enterprise sales cycles, including multi-year agreements, procurement processes, legal reviews, and executive-level negotiations.
• Capability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in creating strategic account plans and managing large, intricate customer relationships.
• Strong collaboration experience with partners and channels.
• Excellent skills in forecasting, pipeline management, and discipline in Salesforce.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and business writing abilities.
