Senior Claims Manager – CA Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the activities of a team of claims professionals.

• Direct the daily operations and tasks of the team.

• Responsible for the performance, growth, and coaching of team members.

• Foster learning and development opportunities for the team.

• Primarily operate from home within the Pacific region.

• Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including some overnight trips.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of varied experience in handling workers’ compensation claims is mandatory.

• At least 4 years of claims management experience within California is necessary.

• Additionally, expert knowledge in claims handling and management experience in at least one of the following jurisdictions is preferred: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, or Utah.

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A strong background in coverage analysis, reserving, claims investigation, and litigation management is essential.

• Experience working with large or national accounts is required.
