Senior CDN, Cloud Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the advancement of Redfin’s cloud strategy by designing scalable and sophisticated solutions.

• Develop and deploy high-quality, dependable cloud networking solutions.

• Collaborate with SEO, Platform, and Infosec teams to address inter-team dependencies.

• Create and uphold Infrastructure as Code while guiding colleagues through valuable code reviews.

• Establish and monitor essential engineering metrics for cloud services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in managing cloud platforms, ideally with AWS.

• Proficient in Cloud Networking technologies such as CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, WAF, Shield, Route53, VPC Lattice, and AWS Client VPN.

• Familiarity with cloud platform observability tools like Datadog and CloudWatch.

• At least 2 years of experience in setting up, managing, and scaling a cloud-based environment across multiple accounts or projects.

• Strong enthusiasm for Infrastructure as Code and proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Spacelift, Terraform Cloud, Atlantis, or CloudFormation.

• More than 3 years of experience with a scripting language, including JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.
