This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Category Strategy & Development: Recognize opportunities for growth by establishing strategic objectives regarding category share and channel distribution within the Hu & Enjoy Life portfolios.
• Define the category and competitive landscape to inform brand and category strategies.
• Create a roadmap for both annual and multi-year planning.
• Evaluate consumption performance against both current and long-term roadmaps.
• Collaborate with the innovation team to identify future-fit categories.
• Assist the channel & customer development (CCD) team in delivering category toolkits and influencing MAPs strategy.
• Category Insights & Research: Establish category learning objectives and necessary budgets in coordination with the Category Insights Manager (CIM), Insights & Analytics partners (I&A), and the Brand team.
• Provide regular category reports to North America and North American Ventures businesses to highlight brand priorities and recent insights.
• Utilize and prioritize the suite of tools developed by CIM to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for enhancing category and brand insights.
• Category Team Leader: Ensure the category team effectively tracks key metrics with comprehensive reporting on category trends, competitive brand performance, consumer trends, and customer performance.
• Assist CIM in updating and broadening the master selling story to support category reviews.
• Facilitate cross-team communication to ensure alignment of objectives, research, and budgets across broader sales, brand, and I&A teams.
• Oversee team priorities and goal-setting, support daily management of the category team, and promote growth and development within the category team.
• A dynamic, hands-on leader with a proven track record as both a top-performing CPG salesperson and a leader of successful teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Nielsen & Spins with the capability to craft a category narrative and key KPIs that surpass category growth.
• At least 5 years of experience managing category insights and long-term strategic growth.
• A self-starter capable of translating insights from data into actionable strategies in collaboration with the RGM team.
• Extensive experience in developing and executing highly effective selling strategies.
• Skilled in building strong partnerships with sales, marketing, and RGM to create a cohesive strategy that fulfills all company objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
