• About the role: We are in search of an **IT Procurement Specialist** with **2–5 years of experience** in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within technology-related categories such as SaaS, software licensing, or IT services. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Procurement Lead.

• The role emphasizes executing defined procurement plans, managing supplier interactions, and ensuring cost-effective and compliant purchasing processes. The position does not entail people management or ownership of procurement strategy.

• Profile & Experience: You possess practical experience in running competitive sourcing processes and negotiating commercial terms, and you are adept at working with contract structures, subscription models, and cost analysis frameworks.

• You demonstrate strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and you communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, aligning various perspectives toward feasible commercial outcomes. You have a robust commercial mindset, are decisive and solution-focused, and maintain a friendly and cooperative working approach.

• You are comfortable navigating a dynamic environment, adaptable to changing priorities, and have experience with digital procurement systems. An openness to utilizing AI tools for productivity and analysis is also crucial.

• Procurement Lifecycle Execution

• - Execute the complete procurement cycle for software, SaaS, and technology services.

• - Manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes.

• - Coordinate vendor assessments and assist in supplier selection.

• - Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and governance standards.**

• Commercial & Contract Management

• - Conduct negotiations within set approval frameworks.

• - Assist in contract drafting, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with Legal and Finance.

• - Maintain the contract repository, renewal trackers, and supplier documentation.

• - Monitor license usage and subscription consumption.

• - Conduct spend analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations.

• Cross-Functional Coordination

• - Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Finance, Security, and Operations.

• - Align stakeholders during sourcing and contracting activities.

• - Coordinate timelines and highlight risks or delays.

• - Ensure procurement actions meet budget and compliance standards.

• Supplier & Process Improvement

• - Support supplier performance evaluations.

• - Consolidate expenditure data across departments.

• - Identify opportunities for cost optimization.

• - Contribute to enhancements in procurement processes.

• - Prepare dashboards, reports, and inputs for business cases.

• - Utilize digital procurement systems and AI tools to enhance efficiency.
