This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and enhance the accessory merchandising strategy for uBreakiFix by Asurion across both in-store and e-commerce platforms.
• Analyze internal and industry data to evaluate the size of the accessories market.
• Direct product strategy, assortment, inventory forecasting, lifecycle management, merchandising, vendor relationships, and negotiations.
• Manage accessory P&L performance, which includes revenue, gross margin, and inventory turnover.
• Collaborate with buying, pricing, marketing, finance, demand planning, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Oversee e-commerce merchandising, focusing on assortment, P&L, product listings, and promotional schedules.
• Work alongside franchisees to encourage adoption and enhancements within the accessory business.
• Advise on store construction and renovations to optimize accessory front-of-house flow and implement the new strategy.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning processes for the accessories segment.
• Cultivate relationships across departments and management levels while anticipating coaching requirements.
• Travel approximately 20%, which may include overnight stays.
• Bachelor’s Degree along with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or category management, with a preference for visual merchandising experience.
• Extensive knowledge of retail and visual merchandising, buying, assortment planning, and lifecycle management.
• Capability to lead within a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to structure and conduct analyses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adept in assortment planning, merchandising, and planogram software.
• Experience in collaborating globally across various locations, teams, and business functions.
• Proven track record of developing and presenting complex information to senior leadership and influencing decisions.
• Experience in aligning projects and initiatives with key business goals.
• Excellent presentation, communication (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential communications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%, including overnight trips.
