This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Identifying and sourcing transportation providers while offering tracking updates.
β’ Creating a strategy for carrier coverage.
β’ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish a network of service providers.
β’ Managing tendering processes, including accepting or rejecting loads, creating loads, scheduling appointments, dispatching, and tracking and tracing loads.
β’ Resolving conflicts and supporting Carrier Sales Representatives in finding optimal solutions.
β’ Recognizing and cultivating relationships with transportation providers.
β’ Overseeing the planning and scheduling of coverage for loads.
β’ Ensuring adherence to Federal, State, and Local regulations.
β’ Accountable for the timely updating of load statuses.
β’ High School Diploma or GED.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).
β’ Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in Business (Required).
β’ Advanced understanding of the Transportation Industry, including carrier modes and services, as well as basic Supply Chain design and functionality.
β’ Advanced knowledge and support of RIL policies and procedures.
β’ Proficient in MS Access, Excel, and Word, with a clear understanding of the SMS legacy system (Intermediate).
β’ Intermediate knowledge of assigned customer requirements, customer products, and distribution needs.
