This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Plan, manage, and supervise extensive capital expansion and new construction initiatives.
• Oversee the complete design and construction process, ensuring a balance between scope, timeline, and budget.
• Collaborate with both internal teams and external contractors.
• Emphasize project planning, cost estimation, scheduling, budget formulation, risk management, and documentation.
• Tackle intricate project issues through effective construction methodologies and maintain project control.
• Guarantee adherence to requirements while supporting health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Act as a primary contact for clients and a point of escalation while nurturing relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to be employed by Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with 15+ years of experience, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and proven accomplishments.
• Over 15 years of experience in construction and capital projects/programs.
• Proven experience in executing construction and capital projects/programs and corporate real estate projects for new facilities and modifications, adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), advanced skills in MS Project or similar applications, and a solid understanding of AutoCAD, construction-related tools, and reporting tools that facilitate project oversight.
• PM or PMP certification is preferred.
