Senior CAD/CAE Mechanical Engineer – Chassis Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and update CAD models and detailed drawings for chassis systems and components.

• Support the analysis and integration of parts within the vehicle assembly.

• Apply design standards and best practices in mechanical development.

• Collaborate with electrical, electronic, and software engineering teams for interdisciplinary integration.

• Participate in design reviews, tolerance analysis, and quality assurance.

• Prepare technical documentation and support validation testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in CAD mechanical design, preferably in chassis design.

• Experience with chassis components such as subframes or suspensions or related areas.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software like CATIA V5/V6, Siemens NX, or similar tools.

• Experience in FEA simulations (Finite Element Analysis) using CATIA.

• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and strong communication skills.

• Intermediate to advanced English (technical reading and communication).

• Results-oriented and proactive approach.
