Senior CAD Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance comprehensive construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Plant 3D.

• Convert survey data into precise, high-quality plans.

• Ensure that drawings align with client requirements and directives from the design coordinator.

• Collaborate effectively with engineers and designers.

• Prepare complete drawing packages for submission to clients.

• Verify that details comply with industry standards and client expectations.

• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

• Assist in delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology, CAD Certification, or equivalent experience.

• 2–4 years of experience in design and drafting.

• Some knowledge of the Utilities industry.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, including X-Refs and a solid understanding of coordinate systems.

• Preferred: Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, particularly Gas Distribution Systems and/or Compressor Stations.

• Preferred: Basic familiarity with advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Civil 3D.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Well-organized to maintain focus and complete projects within budget.

• Detail-oriented to produce high-quality deliverables.

• Self-motivated to build on past achievements.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while delivering precise, high-quality drawings and working collaboratively with the team.
