Senior Buyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Lead and assist functional stakeholders in analyzing both internal and external data, understanding internal customer needs, and developing global strategies and action plans for designated segments and categories, particularly focusing on direct sales and service departments;

• Provide support for global tenders within the Sales or Service departments;

• Obtain validation and buy-in from stakeholders regarding the strategy and action plans;

• Ensure that Procurement activities are integrated with other functions and operations;

• Share and incorporate best practices relevant to the assigned segments and regions;

• Establish local procurement strategies and actions for segments, ensuring compliance to achieve total cost of ownership savings and value creation;

• Assist stakeholders in drafting specifications;

• Manage tenders, negotiate terms, and formalize contracts;

• Identify and implement initiatives aimed at cost savings;

• Provide support throughout the entire supplier lifecycle, from selection to phase-out;

• Conduct proactive market monitoring and manage escalation processes;

• Track expenses related to facilities;

• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) in close collaboration with internal departments;

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;

• Extensive and demonstrable experience with successful outcomes as a Software & Solutions Buyer;

• Experience in the Telecoms or a related industry is essential;

• Strong market knowledge of IT services and distributors;

• Basic understanding of ITIL Service Management;

• Excellent negotiation skills;

• Hands-on mentality;

• Capability to manage independent RFP and RFQ requirements;

• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German would be a plus;

• Ability to communicate effectively, present to, and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level;

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail;
