Senior Business Technical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive technical and business insights related to SAS.

• Offer advanced technical assistance through developed and ad hoc reporting and analysis within SAS.

• Design and program intricate new processes and reports utilizing SAS.

• Serve as the SAS subject matter expert for the department or business unit.

• Evaluate company functions, processes, and activities to enhance computer-based business applications.

• Execute application and system design along with implementation.

• Document development specifications.

• Collaborate with end users to test and troubleshoot applications.

• Provide technical expertise in requirement gathering, system analysis, technical design, programming, and documentation.

• Oversee SAS operations and resolve complex issues, optimizing performance and ensuring timely follow-up.

• Generate ad hoc reports for data analysis and validation.

• Assess operational procedures and trends to identify problems.

• Conduct business analysis and propose technical alternative solutions to management.

• Research, evaluate, and determine the financial implications of issues identified in data and processes.

• Analyze requirements, procedures, and issues to automate processing or enhance existing business systems.

• Develop multiuser, real-time, robust database solutions.

• Monitor and communicate departmental project status to management.

• Anticipate and identify potential issues that may hinder project objectives and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies.

• Provide guidance and training to staff on processes, procedures, and issue resolution.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience in technical data analysis, conducting system analysis meetings, creating system design documents, developing project plans with achievable milestones and deadlines, and mediating interdepartmental demands to secure approvals on system scope and design.

• 4+ years of technical experience with SAS.

• 4+ years of technical experience with SQL.

• 4+ years of technical experience with Snowflake.

• 1+ year of technical experience with Databricks.

• 4+ years of experience in creating ETL pipelines.

• 3+ years of experience in related business analysis.

• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in the healthcare industry.

• Preferred: SAS Certification.

• A Master's degree in a related field may be considered in lieu of some required experience, not exceeding 2 years.
