Senior Business Technical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive business insights and advanced technical assistance to one or more business sectors.

• Generate ad-hoc reports and perform data analysis and validation.

• Examine operational processes and trends to pinpoint issues.

• Conduct business analysis and propose technical alternative solutions to management.

• Investigate, evaluate, and determine the financial implications of data/process challenges.

• Assess requirements, procedures, and issues to automate processes or enhance current business systems.

• Develop multiuser, real-time, and robust database solutions.

• Act as a subject matter expert in gathering requirements, system analysis, technical design, programming, and documentation of business applications/systems.

• Monitor and communicate departmental project status; identify challenges and implement corrective measures and mitigation strategies.

• Oversee, resolve complex issues, optimize performance, and ensure timely follow-up.

• Offer guidance and training to staff regarding processes, procedures, and issue resolution.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience in technical data analysis, leading system analysis meetings, creating system design documents, developing project plans with attainable milestones and deadlines, and mediating cross-departmental demands for system scope and design approvals.

• 4+ years of experience in relevant programming languages such as SAS, SQL, VB.NET, or Oracle (or similar based on departmental needs).

• 3+ years of experience in related business analysis.

• Preferred 1+ year of experience in Healthcare.

• Preferred 1+ year of experience in ASP/ASP.NET.

• A Master's degree in a related field may be accepted in place of some required experience, not to exceed 2 years.

• A license in one of the following is mandatory: SAS Certification preferred.
