Senior Business Systems Analyst – IT Planning & Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the coordination with clients to gather and convert business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications.

• Work alongside the development team to craft and implement functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Establish a trustworthy relationship with clients to enhance support for business areas concerning enhancement requests and system-related challenges.

• Proactively investigate new technologies to facilitate conversations on their potential application for increasing process efficiency.

• Validate user stories and confirm that all acceptance criteria are satisfied.

• Operate within an agile framework, adhering to sprint commitments and release timelines.

• Serve as a resource to delineate the scope and objectives for moderately complex system-related projects.

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate updates for moderately complex critical system data elements and configurable applications.

• Create user procedures and manuals, and deliver end-user training for moderately complex new or modified system functionalities.

• Guide and train team members on technology, best practices, and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable role.

• Proven experience collaborating with business units to identify needs, analyze requirements, and document the implications of changes.

• Experience partnering with internal IT teams to define and design application solutions that align with customer needs and IT best practices.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology and demonstrated capability to convert complex issues into actionable user stories.

• Proficient knowledge of various programming languages, including SQL, C#, or JavaScript.

• Working knowledge of multiple software platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics and Power Apps, NICE/Amelia, OpenText, Solimar, CMOD, Hyland OnBase, and Microsoft Power BI.

• Understands moderately complex data structures and database schemas.
