This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take charge of Workday integrations from start to finish, ensuring dependable data flow and a scalable system architecture.
• Enhance architectural standards while connecting technical and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate superior user experiences through automated testing, reporting, and insights driven by AI.
• The Workday Integrations & Data Specialist is tasked with the design, construction, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and both internal and external systems.
• This position guarantees precise, secure, and timely data transfer across HR, payroll, finance, IT, and benefits platforms, while also supporting reporting, automation, AI-driven insights, and scalable system design.
• This role collaborates closely with HRIS, IT, Finance, Payroll, Core HCM architects, and external vendors to ensure that Workday serves as a dependable system of record within a unified technology ecosystem.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with Workday integrations and tools, including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services/APIs.
• Proficiency in integrating Workday with systems such as:
• ADP/global payroll vendors.
• Okta/identity management.
• Greenhouse/ATS.
• Benefits providers (e.g., Navia, Bswift).
• Finance systems (e.g., Pigment, NetSuite, Zip, Navan).
• Familiarity with data formats like XML, JSON, and CSV.
• Knowledge of integration technologies, including REST/SOAP APIs and SFTP.
• SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts or tools applied to data workflows (e.g., anomaly detection, automation, or data enrichment).
• Experience in data validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying root causes and swiftly executing action plans.
• Background in HR data governance.
• Experience in working with or supporting AI-enabled data platforms, pipelines, or analytics tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Python, dbt, or modern data platforms is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience collaborating with a Workday implementation partner (e.g., Topbloc, Deloitte, Accenture).
