This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Address intricate business challenges by utilizing data from both internal and external sources to deliver insights for decision-makers.
• Identify the tools, technologies, applications, and methodologies employed to gather, integrate, analyze, and present raw data.
• Manage reporting and analytics functions for Provider Programs associated with a specific portfolio offering.
• Assess current capabilities and spearhead their evolution into a more standardized and structured future state.
• Create healthcare analytics visualizations based on requests and inputs from stakeholders.
• Collaboratively apply data warehouse, cloud, and BI architecture, along with visualization techniques, working alongside teammates.
• Design, develop, and sustain analytical solutions that support Provider Programs.
• Construct and uphold robust data models, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and optimization of performance.
• Integrate data from diverse sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, encompassing data models, workflows, and user guides.
• Collaborate strategically, leveraging data to enhance the business and recommend next best actions.
• Provide analytics-driven and interoperable solutions that support physician patient care and ensure clinical documentation accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of technical experience in data analysis OR a Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of project leadership experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Databricks and/or other data systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI and/or other data visualization tools.
• Significant experience working with large and complex data sets within substantial organizations.
• Demonstrable ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate requirements among business, project management, and technical projects or programs.
• Experience in analyzing data to address a wide range of business challenges and creating data visualizations that inform strategic direction.
• Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling.
• Proficient in understanding healthcare-related data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to senior and executive leadership.
• Proven excellence in problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Capacity to manage multiple simultaneous time-sensitive deliverables.
• Proficiency in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data trends.
• Access to self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Ability to work from a designated area without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Advanced experience in SQL Server, Azure, Databricks, and other data systems.
• Experience in developing analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors.
• Familiarity with Stars or HEDIS.
