Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and design Power BI dashboards and reports

• Develop semantic models alongside DAX calculations

• Address data inconsistencies and resolve reporting challenges

• Ensure the accuracy of metrics across reports and source systems

• Implement best practices in reporting and visualization

• Enhance Power BI datasets, semantic models, DAX calculations, visuals, and overall report performance

• Work in collaboration with data engineering teams to fulfill reporting needs

• Establish governance, security, and documentation protocols

• Provide reliable, accurate, optimized, and scalable reporting solutions

• Quickly resolve reporting and data quality concerns

• Advocate for the adoption of standardized dashboards and reporting methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in Power BI development

• Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

• Proficient in advanced DAX

• Strong SQL skills with the capability to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot underlying data

• Experience in identifying and rectifying data quality and reporting discrepancies

• Skilled in optimizing Power BI models and visualizations for enhanced performance and scalability

• Preferred: Experience with enterprise data warehouses and cloud solutions

• Preferred: Knowledge of row-level security and workspace governance

• Preferred: Familiarity with reporting design standards and best practices in user experience
