Power BI Developer – Microsoft Fabric, D365 F&O

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to identify data requirements and customize BI solutions.

• Design and produce Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models that are aligned with D365 F&O.

• Create standardized, reusable datasets for both enterprise and self-service reporting.

• Maintain and support current BI solutions, resolve performance issues, and ensure the accuracy of data.

• Develop ERP analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and Dataflows.

• Source and model data from D365 F&O by using data entities, BYOD, Synapse Link, or Fabric connectors.

• Convert ERP business processes into clear KPIs and insights ready for executive review.

• Implement RLS/OLS security measures, certification, and governance standards consistent with the ERP CoE.

• Assist with ERP releases, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization from a reporting perspective.

• Collaborate with functional, data, and IT teams to guarantee data accuracy and consistency.

• Document processes and methodologies thoroughly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience in Power BI development within an enterprise setting.

• Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M), and dimensional data modeling.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Background in reporting on D365 Finance & Operations data.

• Strong understanding of ERP finance and operational reporting principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

• Experience supporting D365 ERP implementations or rollouts.

• Familiarity with Azure Synapse, SQL, or Spark.

• Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
