This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• As a vital member of the Analytics Team, the Senior Specialized Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is tasked with developing sophisticated, data-driven business intelligence outputs that organizational leaders will utilize to make crucial business decisions.
• Offer expertise in one or more specific domains relevant to the role, such as clinical, consumer experience, finance, human resources, marketing, medical insurance, operational effectiveness, and/or supply chain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization in clinical, administrative, and/or operational sectors to deliver analytical insights from reports and/or dashboard visualizations, aiding in the identification of new opportunities and supporting data-driven decision-making for recognized challenges, as well as creating and enhancing metrics to evaluate ongoing performance.
• Share insights and opportunities with leadership, communicate analytical requirements to technical teams, and act as a subject matter expert and mentor for other team members on projects outside their specialized areas.
• Partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to provide data-driven solutions that enhance business processes and bolster strategic decision-making across the health system.
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, management information systems, data science, business administration, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• At least 5 years of professional experience delivering comparable analytics services relevant to one or more domain areas as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with customers on the design, development, and execution of analytics deliverables.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in creating self-service analytic reports, dashboards, and/or tools that facilitate decision-making and actionable metric monitoring by customers.
• Advanced proficiency with essential tools for the position, including the MS Office Suite: Excel (Pivot tables, VBA, Macros), Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access (Required).
• Proficient in database querying: SQL.
• Experienced with visualization tools – such as Tableau (preferred), Sisense, Qlik, or Microsoft PowerBI.
• Knowledgeable in statistical tools - R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or other statistical tools for data analysis (Preferred).
