Business Intelligence Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Examine business challenges through the analysis of internal and external data to uncover trends, patterns, and critical drivers.

• Convert business requirements into reporting specifications and create solutions for effectively presenting information.

• Design and sustain queries, reports, and dashboards to aid projects and facilitate operational decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and address moderately complex data-related inquiries.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, which include enhancing processes, sharing team knowledge, and developing best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a B.A. is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Basic to intermediate experience in developing SQL queries and procedures.

• Foundational knowledge of reporting automation and data modeling principles.

• Experience with R, Python, Azure, or other similar analytical tools.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or DAX Studio.

• Practical knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies.

• Capability to apply data quality principles to ensure accuracy and consistency.
