This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• In the role of Sr BI Analyst I, you will collaborate closely with various divisions within the organization, including Product Development and Adoption, Technology, Performance, Growth, and Strategic Payer Partnerships.
• This role involves developing moderately complex datasets, assisting with updates and modifications to complex datasets, and creating data visualizations and analyses that address a wide range of inquiries across the organization while starting to specialize as a subject matter expert in at least one subdomain.
• You will engage daily with other BI team members and have direct interactions with stakeholders throughout the company.
• A solid understanding of healthcare analytics, population health, and value-based care is essential.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence.
• Proven experience in analyzing data and communicating findings through data visualizations, dashboards, and reports tailored for diverse audiences, including company/ACO executives, internal staff, and physicians.
• At least 3 years of experience working with healthcare data such as claims, EHR, and clinical data.
• Proficiency in data management and manipulation, with a strong foundation in SQL programming.
• Experience providing internal end-user support for reporting products, which includes addressing technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and delivering training.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality assurance.
• Strong quantitative skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (including window functions), proficiency with a BI dashboarding tool (such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI), experience with Tableau, and familiarity with dbt or other data transformation tools (like SSIS or Alteryx).
