Senior Business Integration Analyst, EDI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Oversee project requirements, timelines, and technical integrations from external platforms into Connection’s core systems or via its EDI platform.

• Assist in the development or modification of systems, API, cXML, and EDI integrations with customers and suppliers.

• Collect requirements for new business solutions from internal clients and stakeholders.

• Recognize systems, platform, and business process enhancements for both internal and external customers and suppliers.

• Accumulate and document business requirements and transform them into functional specifications.

• Outline quality assurance procedures for development engineers and QA Analysts.

• Map EDI requirements, identify or generate test data, and guide integration testing through to production implementation.

• Comprehend business needs and discover opportunities through collaborative analysis of systems and processes.

• Propel the development of new systems and integrated processes alongside external customers and Information Technology project teams.

• Generate Agile SDLC artifacts, such as requirements, specifications, process maps, project plans, mockups, and test cases.

• Conduct root cause analysis for complex problems and their solutions.

• Grasp and convey interdependencies among systems.

• Address issues or escalate risks to management as necessary.

• Oversee customer change requests submitted to the Helpdesk.

• Aid Development in organizing tasks within an Agile/Scrum framework.

• Assist Quality Assurance with unit and regression testing.

• Collaborate with customers to facilitate systems integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Comprehensive understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML), EDI documents (including 810, 850, 855, 856, etc.), as well as mapping, troubleshooting, and testing EDI documents with trading partners, or extensive API experience with GET, POST, PATCH, DELETE, and comparing JSON output to relational databases.

• Capability to present to varied audiences, including customers, partners, and management.

• Proven experience in translating customer requirements into technical specifications for EDI integrations.

• Familiarity with ERP systems; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of Agile requirement hierarchy and user-story writing methodologies.

• Understanding of business processes within a distribution business environment.

• Proficient understanding of software bug tracking/reporting best practices and tools.

• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

• Awareness of the business impact of technology issues.

• Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to compose professional business correspondence.

• Strong verbal communication abilities and skill in delivering professional presentations.

• Experience collaborating with business customers and application developers.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS business applications is preferred.

• Previous experience in supply chain, finance, or e-commerce integration projects is preferred.

• Experience with Boomi EDI/B2B management or other integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Informatica is preferred.

• Practical experience in Technology Resell, B2B, or eCommerce industries is preferred.

• An MBA or MS in Information Systems is highly desired.

• Project Management and Process Improvement training is preferred.
