Senior Business Engineer – People Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the link between data engineering and analytics for our people analytics initiatives.

• Spearhead the development of a scalable cloud-based human resources (HR) data platform on AWS.

• Establish a solid foundation for dependable data.

• Create and manage people analytics (AI) use cases that yield measurable business results.

• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and cultivate a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.

• Oversee the architecture and construction of the HR data platform while ensuring data quality, governance, and security.

• Prioritize, develop, and execute people analytics use cases that deliver clear, measurable value.

• Offer technical leadership, coach data engineers and data scientists, and facilitate end-to-end value delivery.

• Collaborate closely with IT, Security, and business units to promote data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree (ETH/Uni/AUS) in Data Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

• Several years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science, particularly in building cloud-based data platforms.

• Exceptional programming and database skills in Python/R and SQL.

• Proven experience in delivering impact-focused analyses and models, along with technical leadership.

• Familiarity with machine learning and AI use case implementation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think systemically.

• Enjoy working collaboratively and bridging the gap between technology and business.

• Effective communicator, capable of delivering convincing presentations and engaging with stakeholders.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
