This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborates closely with Account Managers and Sales Managers to uncover sales opportunities within the practice area through reviews of the business portfolio.
• Focuses on developing key accounts within the practice area, such as active but under-penetrated accounts or those that are inactive or declining.
• Works alongside the sales team and participates in customer calls to assist in identifying, developing, and closing opportunities where applicable.
• Partners with vendors or field teams to jointly target specific accounts.
• Engages in deal registrations and oversees the open pipeline to identify additional opportunities for closing deals.
• Drives vendor or partner promotions and programs in collaboration with the sales teams.
• Collaborates on business development efforts and maintains communication with the sales teams.
• Strategizes with sales management on successful tactics for expanding the relevant business segment and practice area.
• Regularly communicates with Account Managers and the sales management team regarding the progress of plans and strategies for achieving success.
• Enhances knowledge of technology within the respective practice area, stays updated on changes, and maintains or obtains certifications for professional growth.
• Participates in relevant industry and manufacturer training sessions.
• Obtains vendor certifications through online or in-person training sessions.
• Assists in the development and delivery of technical training to our sales organizations.
• Coaches Account Managers on technologies relevant to the practice area.
• Carries out additional duties or special projects as assigned.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Cisco WebEx, and relevant internal business systems.
• Strong IT aptitude with a keen desire to continuously learn and apply the latest technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vendor-specific technology.
• Thorough understanding of technologies within the respective practice area and related product solutions.
• High capacity to stay current and provide training on relevant technology areas.
• Fully proficient in account planning skills, with experience in upselling and cross-selling strategies.
• Ability to clearly express and demonstrate the value proposition to customers.
• Proven track record in managing projects and meeting expectations, both internally and with clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively with Account Managers and engage customers.
• Highly self-motivated and results-oriented.
