This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement a detailed business development strategy that aligns with corporate growth objectives.
• Influence and define requirements early in the acquisition process.
• Oversee the entire business development lifecycle, encompassing opportunity identification, capture strategies, proposal support, and contract transitions.
• Build and sustain relationships with Department of Defense (DoD) and government decision-makers, as well as industry partners and integrators.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and leadership to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide weekly updates and progress reports.
• Enhance business development processes, including CRM, capture, and proposal workflows.
• Identify, forecast, and secure new opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
• Recognize strategic market inflection points for both core and non-traditional initiatives.
• Present strategic opportunities for business growth, including market and competitive analysis.
• Regularly monitor government portals, notices, and postings to identify opportunities for Go/No-Go evaluations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Federal IT sector.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Established relationships within the Federal IT industry and the capability to translate OSC Edge capabilities into growth opportunities.
• Experience in capture planning and execution.
• Strong connections in target accounts.
• Experience with tactical, operational, and strategic opportunities.
• Documented success in capturing both small and large-scale DoD contracts, ideally within the information technology field.
• In-depth understanding of POM processes and contracting mechanisms, including IDIQ.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to create business cases and shape opportunities for future growth.
• Experience in building relationships with federal acquisition offices.
• Experience collaborating with subcontractors and prime Federal Contractors.
• Capacity to multitask and manage competing deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated strategic approaches to market entry.
• Capability to make sound judgments and decisions.
• Ability to quickly solve problems and work effectively under pressure.
• Attention to detail and efficiency in work processes.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
• An Associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• An active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one may be necessary based on the work performed.
