This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Identification of new business opportunities and development of strategies for potential market exploration within the Korean market.
• Formulation and execution of business development strategies to achieve medium to long-term goals and exceed performance targets.
• Conducting market research, proposals, and execution to establish partnerships in Korea.
• Maintaining and managing a systematic business pipeline that aligns with the company’s strategy.
• Creating new business opportunities by leveraging existing networks and customer relationships.
• Developing a balanced growth strategy that achieves both revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Planning potential customer meetings and undertaking business trips (domestic and international).
• Managing existing and new IB partners with ongoing communication.
• Keeping abreast of daily financial market trends and global developments.
• Collaborating with the sales team to draft tailored proposals for successful contract closures.
• Negotiating and coordinating customer contract terms.
• Working with relevant internal departments (such as design and production) to ensure that contracted product and service specifications are accurately executed within deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, banking, management, or a related field.
• Preference for candidates with business development (BD) or sales experience in the financial industry.
• Proven experience in relevant roles such as business development manager or sales manager.
• Demonstrated track record of sales success in the Korean market.
• Proficient in business English for seamless collaboration and contract negotiations with the global headquarters.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
• Excellent business networking and interpersonal skills.
• Top-notch communication skills, including the ability to conduct group presentations (both verbal and written).
• Ability to proactively define tasks and expand/create business independently.
• Capable of maintaining composure and delivering results in high-pressure environments.
• Basic understanding of technical analysis and fundamental analysis.
