
Senior Business Development Manager, IT Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, target, and secure new enterprise and mid-market clients based in the US, with European operations and complex multi-country hardware procurement needs.
• Foster business development through account collaboration, in-person engagements, cold outreach, presentations, and partnerships with vendors/manufacturers.
• Assess marketing and sales leads for qualification.
• Execute outbound prospecting initiatives utilizing cold calls, tailored emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Maintain a robust qualified pipeline and advance opportunities from initial discovery to final closure.
• Evaluate customer needs, budget constraints, decision-making processes, timelines, and key stakeholders.
• Craft and present proposals in collaboration with subject-matter experts.
• Develop comprehensive enterprise proposals that encompass end-to-end lifecycle and multi-region/multi-country managed procurement frameworks.
• Establish executive-level relationships and provide guidance on technology procurement strategy, refresh planning, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with European, US, and APAC business development teams for in-country engagement and execution.
• Engage vendor partners such as Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Cisco in relation to proposals and co-selling initiatives.
• Represent Presidio at industry, technology, and vendor events in the US and, when suitable, in Europe.
• Identify growth opportunities across hardware categories, offices, and regional lifecycle management services.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of CRM pipeline stages and next steps.
• Deliver Quarterly Business Outlooks to the International Business Development Director.
• Generate and maintain rolling sales forecasts, discussed weekly with the manager.
• Achieve or surpass annual revenue and gross margin objectives.
• Collaborate with sales support, customer success teams, pre-sales, logistics, and finance departments.
• Share insights, market intelligence, and best practices among US and European sales teams.
• Report directly to the International Business Development Director while working with US, European, and APAC teams to grow Presidio's Global IT Procurement Business.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant commercial or technology field.
• Over 7 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new logos, rather than focusing on account management or renewals.
• Experience in selling end-user hardware and/or data center infrastructure to enterprise clients.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience working with US companies that have substantial European operations and multi-country procurement needs.
• Consistent history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in pure new business development roles.
• Proven ability to build and manage a structured sales pipeline.
• Confidence in forecasting and commercial qualification processes.
• Skills in customer presentations, including the creation of presentation materials.
• Capable of delivering presentations at various management levels.
• Effective communicator with the ability to present and influence credibly throughout the organization.
• Ability to drive the sales process from planning through to closure.
