This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the travel sector throughout the EMEA region, initially concentrating on the DACH area.
• Formulate and implement business development strategies to achieve regional objectives and support overall revenue enhancement.
• Establish and sustain a strong sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and networking efforts.
• Oversee the complete sales process, from initial contact with prospects to closing deals and conducting follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance to create and present "Deal Sheets" for securing management approval on new business ventures.
• Keep precise and current customer plans updated in Salesforce.
• Hold regular client meetings, including travel to client locations throughout EMEA, to foster and maintain solid relationships.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding B2B payment solutions, promoting growth in spending and revenue.
• Work alongside product, marketing, and operational teams to create and deliver customized client solutions.
• Engage in industry events to network and showcase WEX International's expertise in the travel payments sector.
• Accurately monitor, evaluate, and project revenue streams to ensure alignment with budgetary goals and KPIs.
• Enhance WEX’s Travel payment solutions ecosystem through strategic partnerships.
• Keep management proactively informed about all customer plans, milestones, and challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic business development plans.
• Strong sales and negotiation capabilities, with a proven history of surpassing targets.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Goal-driven with a strong emphasis on achieving business objectives.
• Capacity to lead by example and contribute positively to team success.
• High level of enthusiasm and initiative.
• Proven experience in driving business growth within the EMEA region.
• Ability to manage the complete sales cycle and consistently exceed sales targets.
• Willingness to undertake regular corporate travel across Europe.
• Strong familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
• Proficient in both spoken and written German and English.
