• Take ownership of acquiring new clients for specialized and intricate clinical studies within the cosmetics, personal care, and hygiene sectors, with a clear focus on driving client revenue growth.
• Prospect, connect, and cultivate relationships with senior leaders in R&D, clinical, regulatory, and innovation at targeted accounts.
• Spearhead consultative and insight-driven sales cycles for tailored clinical programs, working in collaboration with scientific and operational stakeholders to define study design, scope, and value proposition.
• Identify and convert opportunities in untapped markets by aligning sponsor innovation pipelines and development strategies with SGS clinical capabilities.
• Oversee opportunity qualification, proposal strategy, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations, including master service agreements and complex study contracts.
• Deliver structured market insights to leadership regarding emerging clinical trends, claim substantiation requirements, and evolving study methodologies that will guide future service development.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
• 7+ years of business development or sales experience, with a proven record of successfully closing new business.
• Demonstrated success in selling highly specialized, technical, or custom products or services through consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
• Experience in engaging with senior decision-makers and navigating complex, solution-oriented sales cycles.
