Senior Business Development Manager

📋 Description

• Spearhead DuckDuckGo’s most intricate product partnerships and steer partnership strategy.

• Identify, negotiate, and expand impactful deals across search, Duck.ai, Privacy Pro subscriptions, and associated products.

• Develop comprehensive partnership playbooks from inception to execution, encompassing product, financial, and strategic value.

• Collaborate across various functions including Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.

• Oversee a portfolio of both competing and complementary partner relationships.

• Navigate pricing models, capabilities, and competitive dynamics within the AI marketplace.

• Spot partnerships that will enhance Duck.ai and Search Assist.

• Discover opportunities for product improvement and boost user engagement and retention.

• Establish new distribution channels to expand AI-related services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategic Partnerships.

• At least 2 years of experience in cross-functional leadership on partnership initiatives and teams, including Legal and Engineering.

• Proven experience in consumer internet or user-facing software industries.

• Knowledge of the AI/LLM ecosystem and the integration of AI capabilities into consumer products.

• Extensive experience in managing complex product partnerships from opportunity recognition through deal closure and beyond.

• Background in creating new products or initiatives with partners while navigating product and technical challenges.

• Proficient in independently drafting terms, constructing financial models, and testing deal structures in collaboration with Legal and Finance.

• Experience in managing a portfolio of intricate strategic partner relationships.

• Understanding of the trade-offs between competing and complementary providers.

• Residing in the United States or Canada.

• Must successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment.

• Required to attend meetings on camera via video conferencing.

• Average full-time commitment of 40 hours weekly.

• Must be available to attend a minimum of two company events or retreats annually.
