This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Foster Growth of New Clients
• Identify, pursue, and secure new employer opportunities through a structured and consultative sales approach
• Consistently meet annual sales targets by diligently developing and executing your pipeline
• Leverage and Enhance Broker Partnerships
• Activate your current relationships with local, regional, and national brokers and consultants to discover RFPs and sales prospects
• Cultivate and solidify long-term partnerships with broker practice leaders throughout your region
• Engage with Senior Decision-Makers
• Establish trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite and senior HR/Benefits executives at mid-to-large organizations
• Confidently showcase Health Advocate’s complete range of advocacy, navigation, wellness, and EAP solutions
• Prospect Intentionally
• Take ownership of your territory by generating a pipeline through broker outreach, direct prospecting, and networking
• Utilize tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to broaden your reach and impact
• Execute with Precision
• Keep accurate records of pipeline activities, forecasting, and documentation in Salesforce
• Lead sales presentations, finalist meetings, and executive-level discussions through to closure
• 7+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales
• Proven success in selling employee benefits, healthcare solutions, or similar services to employers
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business via brokers/consultants
• Established connections within the Midwest broker and consultant community (essential requirement)
• Strong, active network with benefits consultants and brokerage firms
• Capability to clearly illustrate how your relationships have generated pipeline and closed deals
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and meeting quotas
• Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes
• High level of ownership, persistence, and accountability
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft 365 applications
• Strong executive presence and excellent presentation skills

• Base salary of $100,000 (negotiable for highly experienced candidates)

• Anticipated total compensation at plan: ~$375,000
