This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage relationships with Independent Manufacturers’ Representatives (Partners) within assigned territories to drive growth and meet company revenue objectives.
• Provide training to Independent Manufacturing Representatives (Partners) on company products, ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively market and sell our offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with representatives from key contractors, distributors, and wholesalers, ensuring resources are utilized effectively to achieve sales goals.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators for sales across each territory and category, ensuring targets are met while pinpointing trends and areas for enhancement.
• Initiate sales calls and document new sales prospects in existing and potential businesses within the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Implement the Independent Manufacturers’ Representative (Partners) sales strategy to promote revenue growth in each category.
• Assess current partnerships and sales initiatives, focusing on enhancing successful strategies and modifying those that are ineffective.
• Organize and conduct in-person quarterly reviews with Independent Manufacturing Representatives (Partners).
• Act as the primary contact for scheduling, coordinating, and executing trade shows, ensuring effective event participation, brand representation, and business development opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Deliver presentations and webinars to enhance brand visibility and stimulate product sales.
• Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, customer service, and customer relationship management teams.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, analyzing the competitive landscape to devise strategies for gaining a competitive edge.
• Regularly update senior management and stakeholders on sales performance metrics and key trends.
• Travel to contractors, wholesalers, vendors, and distribution centers to promote business solutions.
• Support the adoption of web ordering among wholesale distributors, offering training and assistance to ensure seamless integration and increased usage.
• Contribute to the development of web platforms and digital experiences.
• Undertake other job responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience (MBA is a plus).
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a sales leadership position, with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets and increasing revenue.
• Strong comprehension of sales methodologies, best practices in customer relationship management (CRM), and sales forecasting techniques.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Data-driven and analytical, with a solid understanding of market dynamics.
• Proficient in computer skills, including CRM software, sales automation tools, and the MS Office Suite.
