This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Accountable for driving the expansion of Veristat’s Regulatory Science and Medical Writing services among clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
• Concentrates on identifying new business prospects and enhancing existing accounts by presenting high-value solutions such as regulatory strategy, submission support, regulatory operations, and scientific/medical writing.
• Direct strategic sales initiatives, recognize client requirements throughout the product development lifecycle, and collaborate cross-functionally to provide customized solutions that facilitate regulatory approvals and clinical development success.
• Act as the main point of contact between the client and Veristat for all sales-related engagements, boosting the Company’s visibility, credibility, and market presence in regulatory and scientific services.
• Work closely with Regulatory, Medical Writing, Clinical, Project Management, and Finance teams to ensure the alignment of client needs with service delivery and to foster long-term strategic partnerships.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in selling services within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment, with a deep understanding of the clinical research process and its requirements.
• Proven track record in selling regulatory affairs, regulatory consulting, or medical writing services is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the drug development lifecycle and global regulatory pathways (FDA, EMA, and other regulatory bodies).
• Demonstrated success in selling intricate, consultative service offerings to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to create and deliver high-quality capabilities and sales presentations.
• Experience in proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
• Ability to quickly learn and absorb detailed project requirements.
• Strong computer proficiency, including a solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred.
