This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Propel revenue expansion within strategic and intricate accounts by engaging in proactive outreach, effective networking, and precise commercial execution.
• Foster relationships with key decision-makers, crafting account plans that drive significant impact.
• Identify 'next best' opportunities not only for your business unit but also for One Fortrea as a whole.
• Skillfully manage the sales pipeline.
• Deliver exceptional client presentations.
• Contribute to the formulation of pricing, proposals, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and preferred provider agreements, prioritizing customer experience.
• Meet annual sales objectives and targets for designated accounts through proactive sales efforts and networking.
• Establish, cultivate, and enhance client relationships at appropriate organizational levels.
• Create account plans and develop partnerships with key accounts and strategic partners.
• Submit weekly sales activity reports to management.
• Implement a client call cycle to meet objectives and sales plans; diligently follow up on leads.
• Provide detailed insights on key competitors.
• Promote the capabilities and differentiation frameworks of the business unit.
• Collaborate with company-wide resources to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Organize and facilitate client visits.
• Assess quotations for the territory and offer feedback to meet both client and company needs.
• Oversee Opportunity Management and maintain accurate pipeline forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a business-related field is preferred.
• In-depth industry knowledge.
• Proven client retention capabilities.
• Proficient in managing challenging client and/or financial circumstances.
• Strong working relationships with internal Fortrea management and site leadership.
• Ability to distinguish Fortrea from its competitors.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic business initiatives.
• Capacity to lead and inspire client-facing teams.
• Negotiation skills: direct face-to-face negotiating experience with major clients.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in engaging and presenting to executives and senior levels of client organizations.
• Extensive experience in global collaboration.
• Highly consultative approach.
• Strong customer focus.
• Proven track record in acquiring, growing, and retaining clients.
• Knowledge of the drug development process.
• Ability to influence diverse groups and individuals.
• Strong financial acumen: delivering business results in a commercial context; budgeting expertise.
• Significant experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, with direct interaction with mid-level and executive decision-makers.
• Flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones beyond core working hours.
• Occasionally required to work extended hours to meet client deliverable deadlines or attend client meetings.
