This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Meet annual sales objectives and foster territory expansion within designated US and potentially global accounts through the formulation and implementation of strategic account plans.
• Oversee the entire sales process, encompassing opportunity management, pipeline creation, and precise forecasting in SFDC.
• Recognize, prioritize, and chase new business prospects utilizing available tools and market intelligence.
• Build, sustain, and enhance robust client relationships at various levels.
• Direct client engagements including bid defenses, capability showcases, governance discussions, relationship assessments, and site visits.
• Work collaboratively across various departments such as Commercial Development, Proposals, Marketing, Project Management, Operations, and other business units.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 6 years of experience in sales related to CMC services
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the USA
• Proven experience in selling scientific, laboratory, or CMC/regulatory-aligned services to manufacturers or pharmaceutical/biotech companies
• Knowledge of US and EU regulatory frameworks concerning CMC testing
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment or selling to organizations assessing laboratory collaborations
• Proficient in advanced negotiation and strategic account planning
• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities
• Strong relationship-building skills, easily connecting with individuals at all organizational levels
