This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Achieve the annual sales objectives and targets for designated accounts through proactive sales efforts and networking with both potential and existing clients.
• Engage in the development of proposal scopes as necessary.
• Build, maintain, and enhance client relationships at appropriate organizational levels.
• Create account plans and strategies to secure business within assigned accounts in collaboration with other Labcorp team members.
• Promote the business unit's distinct capabilities and differentiation frameworks.
• Identify and communicate sales opportunities for additional business units.
• Set and manage client expectations effectively.
• Collaborate with companywide resources to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Review quotations for the territory and provide input to meet both client and company standards.
• Utilize SFDC to oversee internal communications and document territory and client information as required for the business unit.
• Manage opportunities and maintain precise pipeline forecasting.
• Lead presentations for clients.
• Develop partnerships with key accounts and strategic partners.
• A minimum of 7 years of sales experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
• A Bachelor's degree in life sciences is preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
• Advanced knowledge of the industry.
• Proven client retention capabilities.
• Ability to navigate challenging client and/or financial situations.
• Skills in managing and motivating client-facing teams.
• Direct experience negotiating face-to-face with major clients.
• Strong customer-centric approach.
• Excellent understanding of the drug development continuum.
• A collaborative team player who can work closely with colleagues, share leads, and build effective partnerships.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish robust internal and external relationships.
• Experience in presenting to executives and/or senior personnel within client organizations.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing priorities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% of the time as part of the role.
