This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Drive sales growth in both existing and new accounts by identifying customer requirements, formulating client strategies, and introducing innovative products and services.
• Persuade prospective clients to purchase products by mastering the sales process and exploring market and niche opportunities.
• Cultivate and strengthen client relationships through effective support, information dissemination, and guidance.
• Investigate and propose new opportunities along with profit and service enhancements.
• Act as a subject matter expert in addressing complex challenges and issues.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of financial and contractual business frameworks.
• Analyze financial trends and variations with assigned clients, communicating issues and solutions effectively.
• Serve as a consultant across other Assurant channels and utilities.
• Conduct both online and face-to-face sales presentations and finalize client agreements.
• Oversee the sales pipeline.
• Foster business development throughout the Southeast region.
• A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic relationship management.
• Background in multifamily or single-family housing, commercial real estate, or a closely related sector.
• Advanced networking capabilities.
• Exceptional ability to forge deep, meaningful, and robust relationships.
• Capacity to leverage housing industry knowledge and professional connections to create business opportunities.
• Proficiency in influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to business growth.
• Established connections with C-suite or executive-level decision-makers within the housing sector.
• Experience managing large housing portfolios or intricate, long-cycle commercial opportunities.
• Familiarity with multifamily operations, asset management, real estate investment, or portfolio economics.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 40% annually.
